Many of our rescued pets need special attention that requires a pet to remain in SPAR's care longer than most, such as those diagnosed as Heartworm positive or needing other medical treatment. Others just don't seem to sell themselves well at adoption fairs - even the sweetest of pets can go unnoticed by potential adopters, simply because they are shy or too "average" looking.
- The longer a pet remains with us, the greater its expenses.
- For these reasons, we’ve created the Sponsor-A-Pet Program, which allows you to donate on behalf of a specific animal or circumstance/situation at Saving Pets at Risk.
- Maybe you’ve fallen in love with a rescue you saw on our social media pages, website, Pet Finder, or at an adoption event, but you are unable to bring an animal into your home right now. Maybe your heart is telling you that you should help a particular pet in need. Sponsorship is probably perfect for you!
Sponsorship Requirements:
• You’ll become a SPAR Pet Sponsor today by making a one-time sponsorship gift of $150 (or more, of course!) for a specific pet.
Your sponsorship will cover many of the expenses involved with its veterinary care, boarding costs, providing special treats, toys, and the many supplies the pet needs.
• By donating $50 (or more!) per month, for a minimum of three months and you’ll become an official SPAR Pet Sponsor! Paying it out in 3 monthly installments is something some people find works really well for them.
This means it might be easier for you to meet the needs of your special pet.
• Important Reminder: When setting up your monthly, recurring sponsorship payment or when making your one-time sponsorship payment remember to indicate which pet or circumstance/situation you are sponsoring.
